all new hot bar at native sun

i just had the BEST lunch at native sun. thier all new new hot bar is delish, and the lunch menu today was asian. it's all mix and match for $8.99/lb (or $6.99/lb every wednesday in july!) so it's super affordable - my total is always between $4 - $6. anyway, today i had veggie fried rice with brown grain rice and big chunks of veggies, a couple pieces of the sweet and sour tofu, and a scoop of the broccoli with cashews. grand total . . . . $ 6. 55, well $5.31 with my employee discount :)

lemme know if you wanna come have lunch with me some day! i work at the baymeadows and 9A store. visit nativesunjax.com to see what menus are running each day.

iTit

Apple announced today that it has developed a breast implant that can store and play music. The iTit will cost from $499 to $699, depending on cup and speaker size.

This has been hailed as a major social breakthrough, because women arealways complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.

4th of july bbq pics

sean's first-ever 4th of july bbq in the backyard was a hit! lots of friends, lots of booze, lots of food, and unfortunatley lots of flies, but we'll know better for next time. he lives a 10 min walk away from the river so that was convenient (ie. no driving) to see the downtown fireworks. above are some highlights from the day, click here to see the whole set.

nataliedee is starting out strong in july.

happy 4th of july weekend!

i hope every has a grrrrrrrrrrreat fourth of july three-day weekend! tonight (thursday) we're hitting up the suns game for some cheap beer and awesome fireworks.

tomorrow (friday) i'm hoping to make it by mike, craig and lobo's beach block party in the morning, then back to sean's for our downtown backyard bbq at 4 p.m. if you're around san marco and want a warm burger and cold jello shot - stop by! call sean or i for directions if you need them. we'll be in the backyard from 4 - 8:30ish, then we're walking to the southbank to get a spot for the coj fireworks at 9:45. after that, we'll have to see! the more the merrier! hope to see you at some point this weekend :)

playing saturday by ear, and sunday is aaron's birthday! some of you might know him better as "crowbar" or "vangie's boyfriend". either way, he's awesome, so send him some bday love via his myspace on sunday.

bear whiz beer

i have to post about this tire cover cause i see it everyday in the parking lot and it's hilarious. if you can't read it well, it's for bear whiz beer, which i still can't tell if it's a real company or not, but there's a bear "whizzing" and around him it says "your next beer is in his hands" and "a head of it's time". silly bear.

joey's new earrings

joey got a new markerboard. and new earrings. weird they showed up in the same day. hmmmm.

cheer up california

neon gray, a four person collective between baltimore and san franciso work together to create great projects using design, photography, illustration on more. above is cheer up california, "a series of digital photographs shot among the ever-changing landscape that is the California coast. The overlayed text (inspired by the 1972 best-selling self-help book) was chosen to communicate the emotional healing qualities and/or sense of well being that the California environment provides."

high springs

a few weeks ago, sean and i drove up to high springs to visit my dad for the day. before we left, sean ran ruby on the skateboard to get some of her energy out. when i came to pick him up, the first thing i saw was a big red arm. one the first lap around the neighborhood when ruby's going about 30 mph, a small dog ran out from someone's yard after ruby. she got distracted, turned and sean went flying over her on the to pavement. the stupid dog owner's offered sean a bandaid - a bandaid?!? look at this thing! keep your effin dog on a leash if it's not trained.

being the trooper that he is, sean still went with me :) we had a nice lunch at the renovated great outdoors cafe with my dad and his gf cindy. then we walked to a few local art shops and antique stores where sean found us some mcdonald's classic black rayban goggles. we had to scratch the old mcdonald's moon off the lens, but they're just the like the ones they sell at urban outfitters for $15 except we got ours for $5.

double feature

i finally saw sex in the city this weekend with my mom! (sorry stef! i didn't want to miss it in the theatres. i will happily see it again with you when you return!) as a big sitc fan, i can't say enough how much i loved this movie. it picked up right where the girls left off and answered all of the questions after season 6. will big and carrie get married? how's married life for miranda and steve? how's adopted motherhood for charlotte? is samantha really gonna last in a monogamous relationship? you'll have to see the movie and find out. i laughed hard, i cried harder. and loved jennifer hudson's character :) i say more movies please! i want to see what happens next!

if you haven't already, check out carrie's macbook. very cool application, looks like you're sitting at her computer! check her emails, see photos, etc.

my mom and i also saw wanted. good 'ol summer blockbuster - shoot 'em up, non-stop action, plot twists, edge of your seat fight scenes, squeamish blood moments, angelina jolie (hot, hot, hot), and grrrrrrrrrrreat special effects. a must see, if you like that sort of thing.

dreamweaver

don't you hate when you wake up really mad at someone then realize it's because of something they did in your dream? i did that today.
