dangling bracelets can be annoying, cheap earrings make me itch, necklaces can fall weird, but rings always fit. i want more cool rings in 2010. love the cup & saucer one above!

i want this calendar every year, but every year it sells out and all that's left right now are $65 anniversary editions. ah screw it, happy new year to me & my new 2010 calendar!

two years ago today sean & i had our first date. dinner at biscottis, drinks at the brick, listening to records at my house on herschel and an amazing first kiss shared in the dark. i stayed up until 4 in the morning with him despite having a 6am flight for work the next day - there was something special about this boy. two years later and i couldn't be happier with our life together! tonight we're headed back to biscotti's for dessert where it all began <3 may it bring us many more years of love & laughter xoxo

as a photographer i always think i can't do anything for "art shows" but then daniel goes and does his "push button-take card" genius setup at last night's aiga toy show & i think "why didn't i think of that?" everytime someone pushed the button it triggered his well place camera to take a picture of them.

wow wow wow. huge congrats to my bestie karen & chad & aiga jacksonville (you know who you are) for pulling together a HUGE show last night. over 80 artists created handmade toys to display at "designers in toyland" during the december artwalk at the new 229 hogan space and it. was. awesome. if you missed it check out pictures here, here & here. kudos also to bold city for providing beer & tara kane for providing kite-cakes! awesome all around!

jax beard movember party

big thanks to club tsi for letting sean host the 2009 jax beard movember party last saturday night. there were lots of mo brothas and mo sistas in attendance and ready to compete -fun times. we also had photographer jensen hande set up in the alley doing awesome portraits. click here to see all of his photos, and here to see more photos of the event.

thankful in the keys

this year i spent thanksgiving with sean's family again, only this time we were in the keys! sean's sister jessica lives in duck key with her husband jeff and their adorable daughter brinley. they were nice enough to host 20+ of us for dinner every night of the trip including a huge thanksgiving spread. we also found time to drive the bridges, take a helicopter ride just me & sean - a first for both of us!, enjoy some cold drinks, and walk around key west. more pics here.

this place is soooooo "sean" - big yard, chopping wood, growing vegetables, cooking yummy food in the kitchen, swimming pool, work room, dead stuff on the wall, guest house, dog, fireplace, etc. i want to go to there, with him :)
