my bestie karen kurycki recently started a blog called "absurd overheard" where she uses her UH-MAZING watercolor & graphic design skillz to illustrate funny things her friends & peers say in person or on twitter. after just 16 posts she's getting a HUGE response and tons of views. so proud of her & excited to see more!!

weekend fun: i bought a car! edition

this weekend i bought my first car ever!! it's a 2011 nissan versa 4dr hatchback and I LOVE IT! my mom & aunt came in town to help me w/ the purchase & financing process but it wasn't as daunting as i was led to believe. i didn't feel pressured or swindled or nervous. i went over all of my options and ended up walking away with the car over $1000 under invoice with a 5yr maintenence plan & 100,000 mi extended warranty at the monthly payment i wanted. all in all it was a great experience & i'm so excited to have a dependable car w/ LOTS of coverage :) go see coggin nissan at the avenues & tell them i sent you! use the AAA buying program & 0% financing until the end of the month!

weekend fun: new year's eve edition

friday: rental car, apt & view, lime, dolphin beer, mondrian, happy new year!









saturday: 8 hr burger, south beach, graffiti, hot tub, take out, sleep

HUGE congrats to my uncle tom, mez & all of the staff (including my mom!) at eastern surf magzine on 20 awesome years of coverage for the east coast surfing community. i'm not sure if you know this, but you're kind of a big deal. well done! xo

Caring and kind. Smart. Likes to be the centre of attention. Very organized. High appeal to opposite sex. Likes to have the last word. Good to find, but hard to keep. Passionate, wonderful lovers. Fun to be around. Too trusting at times and gets hurt easily. VERY caring. They always try to do the right thing and sometimes get the short end of the stick. They sometimes get used by others and get hurt because of their trusting. Extremely weird but in a good way. Good sense of humour!!! Thoughtful. Loves to joke. Very popular. Silly, fun and sweet. Good friend to others but needs to be choosy on who they allow their friends to be.
