i came into free $60 tickets to the ballet gisele on friday night. i took joey and we had a great time, as you can see. my intermission tweet: just chugged a cran vodka at the ballet, ready for scene two - a forest clearing.

"that sauce"
so kickback's has these awesome fried green beans that come with a great dipping sauce. so when my chicken fingers came, i asked the waitress for "that sauce" that comes with the beans. she looked at me puzzled, then said "soo, you want regular ranch?" wha? pssh, ha, i knew that.
the snuggie
so "the snuggie" has come up in conversation several times lately, but i still can't make up my mind if it's genius or silly. you know what IS silly - watch the video and pay attn to the little girl when they're talking about how convenient it is for outdoor sporting events.

when i got to work this morning, i was greeted by a very eager mr.joey who was excited to show me the "blogworthy" 5-inch stomach hair that he discovered this morning. enjoy!

michael stipe, lead singer of REM, is one of the bigger celebrities to show up on the selby to my knowledge. feels a little more exciting/invasive since i already have an idea of what michael stipe is all about vs. seeing the digs a random-to-me cute couple, designer or artist. i love all the cameras and camera art he has lying around his home.

i wanna go camping
just saw this image on stampede of horses and it makes me want to use the new camping gear sean's family got us for christmas right now! can't wait till we take our first camping trip under the stars. with the pups. and a campfire.

look at these nifty things! they're called swims. you just slip them over your heels when it rains to get a little traction and save your pumps from water damage. smart and not that ugly.

white done right
our rented apt is all white walls, which has gotten really boring after 14 months. so i like to see how people who chose white use it. this house is way beyond my means, but i like thier ideas and photographer michael crockett captured it beautifully.
