lady gaga = "ferosh"

Lady GaGa tells the new issue of Blender: “Writing a record is like dating a few men at once. You take them to the same restaurants to see if they measure up, and at some point you decide who you like best. When you make music or write or create, it’s really your job to have mind-blowing, irresponsible, condomless sex with whatever idea it is you’re writing about at the time.”

false icons

glamour mag did a spread of today's starlettes dressed as yesterdays icons, with the exception of new icon michelle obama. above is la lohan as 80's-era madonna, alexis bledel as rosie the rivetter, hayden panettiere as amelia earhart, and alicia keys as michelle obama. nicely done.

drive time entertainment

passed by this guy on 95 the other day. i was driving like an idiot just to get this picture for jiffy feet. dude's got a beard, red lens glasses, a jimmy rigged 3-wheel motorcycle/trailor - that's yellow by the way, AND a penguin riding bitch! then today i passed by a lady flossing her teeth while driving. man, i love going to work these days. what will i see tomorrow??

glasshopper

this poor leafy, grasshopper thing has been on the glass of the sunroom at work for the past four days. he's still alive, but doesn't seem to move around much. and this morning i just realized, he's missing one of his big back legs! how sad :( we're not sure if he can't move because of that, or if he just likes it there. i think someone should place him in the grass. he's gotta be starving.

mcdonald's fresh salad board

to promote thier new fresh salads, mcdonalds planted lettuce seeds on their billboard space. as the lettue grew, the message "fresh salads" grew. genius.

camera in the park

joanna from cup of jo & glamour's smitten blog, inspired by this stranger photos project out of atlanta, left two disposable cameras out in new york for passers by to take random photos with. the results are adorable. i might have to do this in jax soon!
